PKM-zeta inhibitormostly known as ZIP (Zeta Interacting Protein), is an experimental drug tested with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder victims. When the drug is used sparingly, it can erase selective memories.
On the Show[]
Season 1[]
Dr. Borden explained that Jane's body was flooded with the drug, causing her an induced state of permanent amnesia, reason of why she can't remember who she is or where she came from.
Oscar tries to use the drug on Jane once again after stating that Marcos was too cautious with the dosis the first time, which made Jane remember certain things from her past.
Season 2[]
After Roman was shot and taken by Jane to a warehouse in order to patch his wound, she injects him with ZIP so he could start all over again and become a new person just the way she did after her entire memory was wiped.
ZIP Poisoning[]
According to Robert Borden, when ZIP is used sparingly, it can erase selective memories from a subject; however, high dozes and prolonged exposure to it will result in death.
