Rob Brown is an American actor who plays the role of Edgar Reade on NBC's Blindspot.

Biography[]

Rob first achieved both national recognition and critical acclaim when Gus Van Sant chose him to star opposite Sean Connery in the feature film "Finding Forrester."

While attending college at Amherst, he also managed to star in "Coach Carter" and "Take the Lead." Brown starred opposite Ryan Phillippe, Channing Tatum and Joseph Gordon-Levitt in "Stop-Loss"; the independent feature "Live!," opposite Eva Mendes; and "The Express," opposite Dennis Quaid, for which he was nominated for an NAACP Award

On the small screen, he played a series-starring role for four seasons on David Simon's critically acclaimed HBO series "Treme." Keep your eyes peeled for Rob in the independent feature "Criminal Activities," directed by Jackie Earle Haley and starring John Travolta and Michael Pitt.
